Power To The Full
I got this poem from Mr B, a dude from Texas that cares about uncovering truth and creating social change to make the world a better place. I think it really hits the spot so I decided to post it.
Power To The Full
Powerless to extract the power of the full,
while iniquity endures to grow.
You can’t detract from the fact that enlightened ones know
about the hidden history of long ago.
That makes up the American dream
That soon will bring
us to a day where freedom won’t ring.
A one world will sing
to the nations.
Mental sedation, hoodwink the population;
time to bow down to the illumi-nation.
The sensation of eternal damnation
is upon you and me.
The days of thinking and speaking so freely,
are fleeting, retreating, beating to a new sound.
When the fire rains down,
the chosen will be safely underground.
And you’ll be left, betrayed and broken down,
looking at flesh by the pound.
A landscape so profound
that even the greatest minds
will have to rewind,
to search and maybe find
a reason to this rhyme,
or a motive for this movement.
Far from just a dissident,
a proponent of improvement
firing off the truth to expose our lying government
that’s supposed to serve the public.
How much of the greed can we stomach?
Leadership – they run from it.
Conscience — there is none of it.
But yet it’s evident,
our desire to consume is only offset
by the security of our complacent mindset.
Can we convalesce the division without socialism?
Nourish the forsaken,
help young minds to awaken.
Action must be taken
for future generations
to reflect our choice,
unite their voice.
Together in truth,
in Love’s name we rejoice.
The end has been written, and if you listen time will tell.
To love beyond yourself is to elude the flames of hell.
